Bag-N-Shred

Bag-N-Shred makes it easy for customers to securely destroy confidential documents without needing to organise a collection service. Customers simply order a shredding bag online, fill it with up to 5kg of paper documents, then drop the sealed bag at any Australia Post Office for delivery to Bag-N-Shred’s secure destruction facility.

We upgraded the existing Bag-N-Shred website by replacing its ageing custom application and CMS with a new Statamic website and a streamlined ordering system built with Livewire.

The new ordering process integrates directly with Stripe for payments and Australia Post for the creation of return labels, making the entire process simpler for customers from purchase through to returning their filled bag.

Behind the scenes, the redevelopment also simplified how the website communicates with external services, reducing unnecessary API calls and making the application easier to maintain.

The result is a faster, cleaner and more modern website, with a much simpler purchase experience for customers and a more flexible platform for Bag-N-Shred to manage moving forward.
