Just over a week ago the whole team was at Laracon US in Boston and I think I can speak for the entire team and say we came back absolutely fired up — full of ideas and momentum to take Statamic and this incredible community to the next level. Except for Jay. He went on vacation with his family to Italy. I'm not jealous, you're jealous. 😘
One fun and potentially game changing idea that came from Laracon was the answer to the question – "What if Statamic could just edit LaraDocs or Jigsaw sites as-is?" These projects shouldn't have to build a whole CMS control panel when a great one like Statamic already exists, right? Well say no more — Statamic Sidecar does just that. The core PR isn't merged yet (still in our PR review process), but the concept works great. Think about what doors this can open up. 🤔
We also launched statamic-reviews.com as a nice place to gather up – you guessed it – reviews and thoughts about Statamic. Obviously it's a bit of an SEO play, but that works in pretty much everyone's favor. If you have anything you'd like to share publically about Statamic, you can submit a review and where you'd like it linked to.
